173 people voted yes to the opposition's budget proposal and 174 voted no, which resulted in the government's spring budget now being passed.

- It was not to save the government, absolutely not.

For a government that keeps quiet, that bends, that crawls for a dictator like Erdogan - I'm not a supporter of them.

This was for the pensioners, says Amnieh Kakabaveh after the vote.

The moderates state that the pensioners would have been better off with the opposition's proposal and that today's decision damages confidence in politics.

- The government has now with silver tape gathered data that consists of the Left Party, the Center Party and a political savage and wins with one vote.

I think it is very harmful for confidence in Swedish economic policy and for pensioners, says Ulf Kristersson, party leader for the Moderates.

The Left Party's party leader Nooshi Dadgostar, on the other hand, is satisfied after their proposal for a higher pension has now been hammered through.

- I'm fantastically happy today.

In the autumn, all other parties said that it was impossible to increase the guarantee pension and now we are standing here and making the biggest increase in the guarantee pension ever, says Dadgostar.
