Earlier, the People's Militia of the LPR reported that a group of Ukrainian military in Lisichansk was taken into operational encirclement.
The Ambassador of the Luhansk People's Republic in Russia, Rodion Miroshnik, said that up to 7,000 Ukrainian soldiers are stationed in the city of Lisichansk in the LPR.
