Defense Minister of Israel: If we are asked to carry out an operation in Lebanon, it will be strong and accurate

Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz said that if we were asked to carry out an operation in Lebanon, it would be strong and accurate, and if necessary, we would enter again into Beirut, Sidon and Tyre.

In a statement during the commemoration of the fortieth anniversary of the "Peace of Galilee" regime in Kiryat Shmona, Gantz stressed that "if we are asked to carry out an operation in Lebanon, it will be strong and accurate, and it will impose a heavy price on the shipments of Iran, Hezbollah and the Lebanese," stressing that "in the face of any threat to the citizens of Lebanon." Israel, no infrastructure used to harm us will be immune."

He declared, "We are ready for battle, and if necessary, we will enter again to Beirut, Sidon and Tyre," adding: "We do not want war and are ready to walk very far on the path of peace."

Gantz stressed that "our conflict is not with the citizens of Lebanon, with whom we have contacted several times, including in the past year."

"For the moribund Lebanese economy, this will be a breath of fresh air, and I hope it will also be an important step in promoting stability in the region," he said.
