Twelve departments were placed on Tuesday in orange vigilance by Météo France for risk of thunderstorms.

These are Haute-Loire, Ain, Cantal, Puy-de-Dôme, Allier, Saône-et-Loire, Loire, Rhône, Ain, Jura, Drôme and Isère, where thunderstorms should be accompanied by hail and intense precipitation.

The risk of thunderstorms will persist over most regions.

From Auvergne to the Center and Burgundy, the weather will be heavier with more frequent and strong thunderstorms in the afternoon.

In the evening, a new stormy wave is expected over the South-West, then spreading towards the Massif Central and the Centre.

Minimum temperatures will range from 12 to 17 degrees north of the Loire, from 15 to 20 elsewhere, with peaks at 22 or 23 in Lyonnais or on the shores of the Mediterranean.

The maximum will vary between 20 and 25 degrees near the Channel and the Ocean, they will reach 30 to 35 degrees from Alsace to Rhône-Alpes, up to PACA and Corsica, they will be between 25 and 30 degrees everywhere somewhere else.
