China News Service, June 21. According to the US "Overseas Chinese News" report, a manicure shop on Eldridge Street (Eldridge Street) in Manhattan's Chinatown, New York, USA was set on fire on the 19th, causing two people to be injured and sent to the hospital for treatment. The situation is stable, and the arson suspect is still at large.

According to police and sources, the arson was a manicure salon named Sa Sa II at 129A Elridge Street in Manhattan's Chinatown. The incident happened before 5 pm on the 19th, when witnesses found a man. Two people were injured after a Molotov cocktail was thrown into the nail salon.

Among them was a 60-year-old woman with burns to her chest and a 46-year-old man with burns to her chest and arms.

Both were then taken to New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center and are in stable condition.

It is reported that after the arson incident, the entire store and building soon filled with thick smoke, and the front door of the nail salon was locked, and the people trapped inside desperately knocked on the door for help.

Fortunately, there was a man from Brooklyn who was having a drink at the store next door. When he saw this, he rushed out and tried his best to pry open a crack with another witness, so that the people trapped inside could escape. This prevented a more serious tragedy from happening.

Firefighters who arrived had the blaze under control around 5:30 p.m., according to the city's fire department.

The suspect fled the scene after the attack and has not been apprehended as police and firefighters are investigating the arson.
