Mohamed bin Zayed and Romanian Prime Minister discuss regional and international issues

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, received, yesterday, at Qasr Al Bahr, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Romania, Nicolae Chiuca.

His Highness welcomed the Romanian Prime Minister and the accompanying delegation, looking forward that his visit would contribute to supporting the development of bilateral relations in various fields.

The two sides discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries, and opportunities for its development and diversification of its horizons, in the economic, investment, trade, development and agricultural fields, and other vital areas of common interest.

His Highness and Chiyoka exchanged views on the latest developments in the region, and the developments of a number of regional and international issues.

Chiyoka offered his condolences and sympathy to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him.

He also congratulated him on his assumption of the presidency, wishing His Highness success in leading the Emirates to achieve the progress and advancement of its people.

His Highness the Head of State expressed his thanks to the Romanian Prime Minister for the good feelings he showed, expressing his sincere wishes for the friendly Republic of Romania for continued progress and prosperity.

The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, and Minister of Energy And Infrastructure, Suhail bin Muhammad Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, Maryam bint Muhammad Al Muhairi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council, Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, a number of officials, and the delegation accompanying the Prime Minister of Romania.
