• Courts The TSJ imputes Mónica Oltra for covering up her ex-husband's abuse of a minor under guardianship

The vice president of the Generalitat and leader of Compromís, Mónica Oltra, has decided to step aside and present her resignation, four days after announcing that she did not plan to resign after being accused of allegedly covering up her ex-husband's sexual abuse of a minor tutored.

She has communicated this this Tuesday at the Compromís executive meeting, to which she was not going to attend in principle.

She leaves the Government and the Valencian Courts.

The pressures since it was learned on Thursday that the

Valencian Superior Court of Justice

summoned her to testify for July 6 have been constant, starting with those of the president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig.

"This story will go down in the history of legal and media political infamy in this country," Oltra assured.

"The bad guys win. I want to prevent someone from thinking that it is not possible to carry out left-wing policies and stand up to corruption. They are striking us down one by one with false accusations. The day they want to react, they will have struck down on you. I am leaving with face high but with clenched teeth", he added.

The former vice president of the Valencian Government has stated that she would have expected "Puig's support, but she knew there were no chances. I haven't expected anything for a long time," she said.
