Two former Tesla employees said in the lawsuit they were fired in June at the Tesla factory in Nevada, where more than 500 employees were laid off.

Under the relevant laws, employers must give at least 60 days' notice before laying off employees.

"Tesla simply notified employees that their terminations would be effective immediately," the indictment said.

  Tesla has yet to respond.

According to the report, the world's richest man and Tesla CEO Elon Musk once said that he has a "very bad feeling" about the economy and that Tesla needs to lay off about 10% of its workforce.
