Seeing Castres and Montpellier compete on the lawn of the Stade de France will probably be an obstacle course.

A strike at SNCF and RATP will indeed affect several suburban train lines, including almost all RER lines on Friday, the day of the Top 14 rugby final.

Lines A, B, C and D of the RER are concerned, as well as lines H, J, K, L and R of the Transilien.

The Sud-Rail unions but also CGT, Unsa, CFDT, FO and La Base (main union of RATP RER drivers) on certain lines have called for mobilization.

The bad memory of May 28

The drivers of the SNCF in Ile-de-France are protesting against the incessant changes in schedules which occur a few days or even sometimes the day before they start work because of the numerous works on the lines, according to a union source.

There are also wage demands on the grounds of the strike, according to the same source.

During the Champions League final on May 28 at the Stade de France, a strike by RATP drivers on RER B led to a massive transfer of travelers to RER D (SNCF), thus contributing to chaos in stadium gates.
