The problem with wet wipes has been going on for almost six months.

In addition to causing extra work for the employees at the treatment plant, it also has other consequences.

- It is a completely unnecessary environmental burden and costs in the form of working hours.

We spend almost 200,000 a year on driving away all things that would not have ended up in the water from the beginning, says Sven-Eric Stenermark.

The cause - a mystery

But where the wet wipes come from is still unclear.

Previously, the work was cleaned only a few times a year from the napkins - now it is every day.

- It is so unnecessary, it is so incredibly unnecessary, says the VA manager.

Attempts have been made to trace where the napkins came from, but have not yet received an answer.

They have also gone out with information to Skaraborna.

- We think 'where will it end' and how long will it last?

The solution is to continue to inform, says Sven-Eric Stenermark.

What would you like to say to the people of Skara?

- To just flush down kiss, poop and toilet paper and nothing else.
