The weather on Tuesday: often stormy, and scorching temperatures in the center-east

Orange "thunderstorms" vigilance is underway in 21 departments, for a new burst of violent thunderstorms expected Monday evening in the south-west of the country which will reach the Center Val-de-Loire, according to Météo-France forecasts.

These storms will be accompanied by violent phenomena, in particular hailstorms, intense precipitation, violent gusts of wind.

Orange "heat wave" vigilance is maintained in ten departments of the Center-East.

Tomorrow Tuesday, the risk of thunderstorms will persist over most regions.

From the Paris region to Belgium, thunderstorms will circulate in the morning, the afternoon will be calmer.

Elsewhere, the thunderstorm risk will increase as the hours go by.

On the North-West, the clouds will remain numerous all day and will sometimes be accompanied by stormy showers.

From Lorraine and Alsace to Rhône-Alpes and the Mediterranean, thunderstorms are possible first on the relief from midday, then the risk will be more generalized in the afternoon.

Maximums between 20 and 25 degrees

On the South-West, maritime entries will again break up in the morning, but the sky will remain cloudy with a risk of thunderstorms in the afternoon.

From Auvergne to the Center and Burgundy, the weather will be heavier with more frequent and strong thunderstorms in the afternoon.

In the evening, a new stormy wave is expected over the South-West, then spreading towards the Massif Central and the Centre.

Minimum temperatures will range from 12 to 17 degrees north of the Loire, from 15 to 20 elsewhere, with peaks at 22 or 23 in Lyonnais or on the shores of the Mediterranean.

The maximum will vary between 20 and 25 degrees near the Channel and the Ocean, they will reach 30 to 35 degrees from Alsace to Rhône-Alpes, up to PACA and Corsica, they will be between 25 and 30 degrees everywhere somewhere else.
