The flood control situation in the Pearl River Basin is complicated and severe.

At the request of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on the basis of the disaster relief materials that had been allocated in the early stage, the General Office of National Defense and the Ministry of Emergency Management, together with the State Grain and Material Reserve Bureau, again urgently dispatched 180 sets of life-saving equipment such as assault boats and rubber boats on the 19th, and 119 sets of large-flow emergency drainage pumps, mobile pumping stations and lighting equipment support Guangxi in carrying out flood fighting and emergency rescue work.

On the 20th, the National Defense Office and the Ministry of Emergency Management continued to hold a video conference on flood control, and discussed with the China Meteorological Administration, the Ministry of Water Resources, and the Ministry of Natural Resources.
