According to him, the total gas supplies from Russia to Europe are rapidly declining.

“This means that without additional measures it is no longer possible to guarantee that we will be able to fill enough gas storage facilities in Europe and the Netherlands to prepare for winter,” he said.

The Minister added that the Dutch authorities are actively taking measures to prepare for the winter period.

Earlier, German Vice Chancellor Robert Habek said that a tense and difficult situation with gas has developed in Germany.

He attributed this to the reduction in natural gas supplies from Russia.
