The interview had initially been normal until the site manager suddenly threw 5,000 kronor in cash at the desk and, according to an interview with the teenager, said "come in front of me, it's a pretty good hourly wage".
Hallands Nyheter was the first to report on the prosecution.
The incident must have occurred in April when the teenager was under 18 years old.
He reported the incident to the police and the site manager is now being prosecuted at Varberg District Court for attempted exploitation of children through the purchase of a sexual act.
The man, who denies the crime, has been fired from his job.
