“Part of the servicemen of the Ukrainian armed formations, who not so long ago decided to surrender at Azot, are now in the LPR, operational work is being carried out with them,” Interfax quoted him as saying.

Marochko said that planned combat work at the Azot plant is currently ongoing.

Earlier, LPR Ambassador to Russia Rodion Miroshnik said that the soldiers of the Aidar National Battalion, together with their commanders, were surrendering in the suburbs of Severodonetsk.

The commandant of the city, Viktor Dubina, said that the forces of the Luhansk People's Republic continue negotiations with the Ukrainian military at the Azot plant about a possible surrender.
