We talked far too little about discrimination against minorities during the corona pandemic, that could now be made up for with monkeypox.

But let's start at the beginning: Donald Trump's early attempt to label the new corona virus as the "China virus" was quickly cleared up.

Later, the term “Wuhan virus” – Sars-CoV-2 was first discovered in the metropolis – was suspected of being discriminatory.

In the case of "monkey pox", after an intervention by three dozen scientists, a new name will probably be discussed this week at the World Health Organization in Geneva (and the chances are not bad), because the monkey advocates have good arguments, the monkeys don't blame for the global spread of the pathogen among humans.

Tips for masturbating together

The epidemic is now heading for three thousand known infections, 42 countries have reported cases, but no one knows how many there really are.

The question of guilt is even more complicated and anything but settled.

However, the transmission path is quickly explained if you read the recommendations for action of the American disease control agency CDC for infected people - until the Covid 19 pandemic a respected institution that health authorities around the world used as a guide.

Suggestion one: "Virtual sex please without physical contact".

Recommendation two: "When masturbating together, please keep a minimum distance of six feet, do not touch, and most importantly, do not touch a rash or sore spot."

Advice three: "Consider engaging in intercourse with clothing on, or cover all areas of the rash to reduce skin contact as much as possible."

Suggestion four: "Avoid kissing."

Finally, the obligatory hand washing tip is followed by the note: “Limit the number of sexual partners.”

Unfortunately, condoms and how to use them sensibly have been omitted from the sex guide – this prudery is good bureaucratic custom.

Apparently, the CDC simply doesn't want to advocate "safer sex" but want monkeypox infected and suspected individuals to abstain from sexual intercourse.

After the handout, however, many who follow it will have to pull their jackets off and rightly ask, "Oops, did we just have sex?"
