It's a slap in the face for Emmanuel Macron.

At the end of the second round of the legislative elections, his party Together!

does not obtain an absolute majority because of the breakthrough of the Nupes and the National Rally.

For political scientist Chloé Morin, these results call for a "change of political culture" because "a dialogue will have to be established".

Are we witnessing a recomposition of the French political landscape?

In any case, the legislative elections change the situation.

With only 245 seats obtained instead of the 289 necessary to have an absolute majority in the National Assembly, Together!, Emmanuel Macron's party will have to deal with the Nupes and the National Rally, which are returning in force to the Palais-Bourbon.
