Supporters of Marine Le Pen triumphed over the president of the National Rally on Sunday, when the results of the second round of the legislative elections were published.

In his stronghold of Hénin-Beaumont, in Pas-de-Calais, it was time to celebrate the hope of countering the policy of Emmanuel Macron.

In Hénin-Beaumont, the results of the National Rally in the legislative elections provoked an explosion of joy tinged with disbelief, as the performance is historic.

Hugs and champagne, a few tears in the audience... Marine Le Pen's supporters gave her a triumph when she joined them.

"We criticized her a lot, we buried her a lot dozens and dozens of times and it was she who led us to this result", reacts to the microphone of Europe 1 Bruno Bilde, re-elected in the neighboring district of Liévin-Bully.

"It's her and no one else."

The beginning of a new era of RN

In the region or elsewhere in France, the announcements of victory of the National Rally in the constituencies fall one by one during the evening.

So much strength to counter Emmanuel Macron's policy, according to Marine Le Pen: "Preventing Emmanuel Macron from having an absolute majority is obviously a very great relief when we know the toxic policy he planned to implement and that we we will be able to contribute to blocking."

A new RN generation will therefore land in the National Assembly.

New faces, yes, but not necessarily novices.

"Many have worked with Marine for a long time," says Caroline Permentier, elected to Bethune.

"Many already have political mandates, including regional councillors. And believe me, we will be a group we will hear a lot about."

And one thing is certain, as noted by an elected official, with all these deputies and the resulting financial means, the National Rally is now entering another dimension.
