The department said that this ban is connected with the anti-Russian sanctions adopted by the European Union.

It is noted that the full list of goods under sanctions is published on the website of the department.

The Estonian department recommended "paying special attention to a complete ban on the import of alcoholic beverages with a strength of less than 80%."

“It is also prohibited to import furniture, wood, fertilizers and a number of other goods from Russia that individuals brought with them daily from Russia,” the department said.

The department also warned of criminal liability for violating sanctions.

Earlier, the Estonian Foreign Ministry announced that the EU foreign ministers will discuss the seventh package of anti-Russian sanctions on June 20.
