American online video streaming company Netflix is set to go through additional layoffs this week to cut costs, Variety reports.
The media quoted a Netflix source as saying that the company is expected to notify its employees of layoffs at the end of this week, similar to the size of the layoffs carried out in May.
Netflix laid off 150 workers and dozens of contract and part-time workers in the U.S. and Canada last month.
In April, when the number of paid subscribers decreased for the first time in 11 years, Netflix announced that it would introduce various cost-saving measures, such as streamlining content spending costs and launching low-cost services with advertisements.
