According to the parliamentarian, the conditions put forward by the European Commission are unrealistic for Ukraine.
“Many issues are resolved through the system of corruption, which has flourished there in a lush bouquet ... Today, under Zelensky and his entourage, it is impossible for Ukraine to solve this problem by at least 20%,” Vodolatsky said.
As the deputy noted, the members of the European Commission are also aware that Ukraine is not able to eliminate the existing problems, and, putting forward conditions, relieve themselves of responsibility.
“They were given a package of documents, which set out all the wishes that Ukraine must fulfill.
These are obviously impossible conditions.
Based on this, now EU officials are sitting quietly, there can be no claims from Ukraine against them for the reason that they are simply physically impossible, ”concluded the expert.
Earlier, the European Commission announced the conditions for withdrawing the status of an EU candidate for Ukraine.
Among other things, the Kyiv authorities are obliged to carry out judicial reform, introduce anti-corruption laws and adopt documents that prevent the oligarchy from money laundering.
