Born on January 28, 1989 in Normandy, arrived in the Bouches-du-Rhône a dozen years ago, this policeman in uniform currently exercises in Nîmes (Gard), after having worked in the night brigade in Cavaillon, in the Vaucluse.

First attempt

Son of traders, both florists, the policeman tried for the first time to be elected in 2020, during the municipal elections in the town of Sénas, in the heart of this district in the west of Bouches-du-Rhône.

With success, the third place on his National Rally list having enabled him to win a seat in the opposition.

Defeated in the 2021 departmental elections, Romain Baubry therefore acceded to the National Assembly on his first attempt.

Now a parliamentarian, he intends to defend the purchasing power of the French and work for their “security”: “As a police officer, I have known three Presidents of the Republic, Sarkozy, Hollande and Macron.

I know what they are capable of and above all what they are incapable of,” he told AFP just hours before his victory.
