The third first constituency of the Tarn, of which Jean Jaurès was the deputy, fell into the camp of the National Rally with the victory of Frédéric Cabrolier, the departmental boss of the RN.

He won the second round of the legislative elections with 53.09% of the vote against Gérard Poujade, the mayor of the Sequester, who was competing under the Nupes label.

In this constituency, the outgoing Macronist MP, Muriel Roques-Etienne had been eliminated in the first round.

The presidential majority retains one in three MPs

In the third constituency, the outgoing Marie-Christine Verdier-Jouclas (Ensemble!) won 35.05% and lost her seat after a triangular vote won by the candidate Nupes Karen Erodi (37.50%).

The RN candidate Julien Bacou ends at 27.45%.

The presidential majority manages to keep one seat out of three in the Tarn.
