The incident at the end of May occurred when staff received a door alarm from a department at the accommodation.

An employee then went into the ward and saw a patient who was very upset at another patient.

When the employee walked between the two users, he discovered that the patient who was upset was holding a knife.

The employee struck away the hand with which the patient was holding the knife and the knife caused a superficial scratch on the staff's neck.

Stumbled and hit his head

In connection with this, the user dropped the knife on the floor.

The employee in turn lost his balance and fell on the patient whom he was trying to protect.

In the case, the employee hit his head on the user's head.

Hen then kicked away the knife on the floor and moved himself and the exposed user to his apartment.

A colleague then came to the ward for help and diverted the upset patient.

The head of the nursing home unit drove the injured employee to the hospital, where it was found that he had symptoms of a concussion after the head-on collision.
