US President Joe Biden suffered a fall while riding his bicycle on Saturday morning, but he was not hurt.

And a video distributed by the White House showed the 79-year-old US president getting up right after his fall and saying, "I'm fine."

The accident occurred when Biden was cycling with his wife Jill near the house where they were spending their vacation in "Rehoboth Beach" in Delaware, and while he was on his way to talk to some of the people who gathered to take pictures of him.

"I'm fine. I got stuck," Biden, 79, said after the incident in front of a gathering of reporters.

Biden later spent several minutes chatting to people who had gathered to watch him on the bike.

According to "Al Arabiya.net" and "agencies", Biden and First Lady Jill Biden were completing a morning bike ride in Gordons Pond area on Delaware Beach.

The two celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on Friday.

The White House said no medical attention was needed.

A White House official said the president was "fine and looking forward to spending the rest of the day with his family."
