The Federal Police (PF) of Brazil confirmed this Saturday that the mortal remains
found in a remote area of the Brazilian Amazon
correspond to the indigenist Bruno Pereira and that his death and that of the British journalist Dom Phillips
were by "firearm, with typical ammunition hunting"

In a statement, the PF stated that the "remains of Bruno Pereira are part of the material" that is being analyzed and explained that the death of Phillips - whose remains were identified on Friday night - was caused by a shot to the chest and that Pereira was hit by three shots, one of them to the head.
