Already a winner in Stuttgart last week, the Italian confirmed his great form on this surface nine days before the start of Wimbledon.

He left his opponent no chance, despite a lot of waste on break points: he only converted three of the 15 obtained.

Delayed by an hour due to the rains that followed the scorching heat of the last few days, the match had to be interrupted again at 6-4, 3-2 and break point to follow in favor of Berrettini, at large displeasure of his adversary.

But the good service, the heavy strikes and the excellent footwork of the Italian, currently 10th in the ATP rankings, made the difference in just 1h30.

The other semi-final will oppose the Croatian Marin Cilic (17th), winner of this tournament in 2012 and 2018, and at Wimbledon in 2017, to the Serbian Filip Krajinovic (48th).
