It is exactly two years ago that Lomma garden devoted a morning work in the couple's garden in Bjärred.

The invoice surprised them: SEK 16,400.

After the route deduction, it was 8,400.

Kenneth and Siv say that Lomma Garden was a reputable company.

They did not know that the company was bought by the Fahkro brothers, who ran Sularpsfarmen, and that one of the brothers changed the name of the old owner, including middle names.

New invoice

Two years after the poorly done gardening, a new bill came.

Now the company, which changed its name to MSA service entreprenad skötsel AB, demands that an additional 8,000 be paid because the Swedish Tax Agency has denied Kenneth a square deduction.

Kenneth reads aloud the demand letter:

"Hello, the last request for payment before it is decided in the district court and the risk that you will have to bear court costs and payment remarks from the bailiff."

"Not information we have"

The same wording is in many letters of demand sent to former customers to Lomma garden.

Without introducing ourselves, we first call the telephone number stated in the letter.

- The invoice states that we reserve the right to invoice the remaining amount corresponding to the tax reduction if the request from the Swedish Tax Agency is rejected, says a person who introduces himself as Peter Nilsson.

When we say that the square deduction has been approved by the Swedish Tax Agency, he replies:

- It is not the information we have.

According to our information, the Swedish Tax Agency has refused.

Then you can send it in writing to us, says Peter Nilsson.

When we call again and say that we work at SVT Nyheter Skåne and ask for a comment that many former customers have now reported the company to the police for attempted fraud, the man hangs up without answering.

Consumer counselor degraded

Consumer advisor Elin Fexner in Lomma municipality has never before received so many calls about the same company as she has received in recent days.

- Many have called or they have come here after receiving an invoice from Lomma garden.

My recommendation is to dispute the invoice and that you do it in writing to the company.

If you feel threatened, you must report it to the police, says Elin Fexner.
