According to real-time data released by the US Gun Violence Archives website, from the 16th to 16:00 on the 17th Eastern Time, a total of 100 shooting incidents occurred across the United States, of which at least 86 occurred on the 16th alone.

  On the 16th, multiple shootings occurred in Chicago, Illinois, resulting in 11 injuries.

The injured included a 3-year-old girl, who was in the car at the time of the incident. The bullet passed through the door and hit the girl in the leg, but luckily it did not endanger her life.

According to local media reports, 11 people were shot and five were killed in a shooting incident in Chicago the previous day.

  At least eight shootings occurred in New York City in just a few hours on the 16th, resulting in nine people being shot and one dead.

On the same day, a 2-year-old boy and his mother were shot in West Memphis, Arkansas. The boy tragically died, but the mother survived after being taken to the hospital.
