Dr. Morgan was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease in 2017, which paralyzes muscles throughout the body, which the late Stephen Hawking suffered in the past.

However, he did not give in to the limited life of 'the next two years' and announced his determination like a robot scientist to become a 'cyborg human' by replacing all necessary organs with machines.

With the help of artificial intelligence experts and robot experts, he first recorded his facial expressions in case his facial muscles would be paralyzed, then developed an avatar with a face similar to his own, and pre-recorded his voice for more effective communication.

This is combined with eye-tracking technology, and when you move your eyes, the avatar reproduces his facial expression and voice through the AI system.

In addition, the larynx was removed and a tube for feeding food was inserted to solve the discomfort, and when physical movement was required, a specially designed wheelchair was used instead.

As a result, Dr. Morgan, who called himself 'Peter 2.0' and said, "I will continue to evolve. I will die as a human, but I will live as a cyborg."
