His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, today affirmed the commitment of the United Arab Emirates to support climate action and enhance its contributions to reducing emissions, and the importance of establishing peace and stability in the world as they are the basis of sustainable economic and social development, during his participation in the " Major Economies Forum".
His Highness said in a tweet on his official account on the social networking site "Twitter": "I was pleased to participate in the "Major Economies Forum" on energy and climate change with a number of country leaders... I stressed the importance of consolidating peace and stability in the world as they are the basis of sustainable economic and social development."
His Highness affirmed, "The UAE is continuing its commitment to support climate action and enhance its contributions to reducing emissions. We look forward to hosting the world in the #UAECOP28 Conference of Parties and achieving practical progress in facing the repercussions of climate change through concerted and integrated efforts."
