The Center Party has previously rejected all collaborations with the Left Party.

But now the Left Party and the Center Party are on the same side in the ongoing pension battle, even though it has been a crooked road there.

In Aktuellt, where the Center Party was also invited but declined to participate, Ida Gabrielsson was asked what the discussions looked like.

- It has been the case that the Social Democrats have, so to speak, called us or had a meeting with us and then they have had a meeting with the Center Party.

- This is what I call whispering.

Ida Gabrielsson believes that the chaotic situation could have been avoided if the parties had talked to each other directly.

- We could have agreed long, long earlier if we had just sat in the same room, says Ida Gabrielsson.

Four in government

But despite the difficulties during this period, the Left Party continues to say that they want to sit in a four-party government together with the Center Party, the Social Democrats and the Green Party.

- If we are all needed for a majority to be formed, then it is natural that the four of us are in government, so it will not be this chaos and instability that we have seen this term, says Ida Gabrielsson.

And if the Center Party says no to the Left Party but they still want to sit in a government, for example with the Social Democrats, will you then vote yes or no?

- Then it is up to the Center Party and the Social Democrats to get a lot of votes in the election.

On Wednesday next week, a new budget vote is planned
