According to the press release of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the permanent exhibition halls of the Hong Kong Science Museum and the Hong Kong Space Museum under the Hong Kong Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD). It will be open for free on July 1 (Friday), allowing citizens to participate in more cultural activities to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the SAR, and to feel the joy of returning to China.

  Apart from the Hong Kong Science Museum and the Hong Kong Space Museum, which are popular with children and families, other museums under the LCSD include the Hong Kong Museum of Art, Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Hong Kong Museum of History, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Tea Ware Museum, Hong Kong Railway Museum, Grantham Fire Wheel Exhibition Gallery, Law Uk Folk Museum, Lee Cheng Uk Han Tomb Museum, Hong Kong Film Archive, Sam Tung Uk Museum, Oil Street Realization and Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre are also hosting a series of wonderful exhibitions, all of which are free to enter.

  To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the LCSD has prepared a series of exciting recreational and cultural programmes. The Hong Kong Science Museum and the Hong Kong Space Museum will open for free on 1 July as one of the celebration activities.
