Qiantu is a Chinese car manufacturer founded in 2016 and specialized in electric vehicles.

A few years ago, the brand had launched the K50, a small electric roadster, but the success was not really there and its production was stopped two years ago.

Today, the manufacturer is back with a small two-seater electric sports car with very attractive lines.

On paper, the K20 is very promising.

Weighing barely 780 kg on the scale, its 215 hp and 290 Nm engine should enable it to achieve 0 to 100 km/h in less than 5 seconds.

No information has filtered about the capacity of the battery, but Qiantu announces a range (probably according to a Chinese standard less strict than "our" WLTP) of 500 km.

Better still, the starting price (in China) of the K20 is very attractive: €12,500 (count €21,000 for the best-equipped model).

It remains to be seen whether it will be distributed in Europe.

For now, we can only cross our fingers.
