The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports that the flow of foreign mercenaries to Ukraine has dried up.

“Against the background of the growing number of military failures of the Kyiv regime and massive daily losses in manpower and equipment, the flow of foreign mercenaries to Ukraine has not only decreased, but is actually turning in the opposite direction,” the ministry said in a statement.

According to the defense department, Kyiv is unable to stop "the process of departure of mercenaries to the "other" world or back to their countries of residence."

As noted in the RF Ministry of Defense, recent statements by the Ukrainian leadership about 20,000 foreign mercenaries on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are a lie.

The Russian defense department monitors and records the stay in Ukraine of every foreign mercenary, including instructors who came to train, assist in the operation and repair of Western weapons supplied to Ukraine.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation notes that Poland is the leader in the number of mercenaries represented in Ukraine, from which 1831 people arrived.

Of these, 378 were destroyed, another 272 went back.

Romania is next, from where 504 mercenaries arrived in Ukraine - 102 died, 98 returned to their homeland.

Of the UK, which occupies the third place in terms of the number of mercenaries, 422 people arrived in Ukraine.

Of these, 101 died, 95 left.

The leader in the number of mercenaries among the countries of America is Canada, from where 601 mercenaries arrived.

162 of them died, 169 returned home.

530 mercenaries arrived from the United States to Ukraine.

Of these, 214 were eliminated, 227 returned home.

Georgia is the leader in the number of mercenaries who arrived in Ukraine among the countries of the Middle East, Transcaucasia and Asia.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, 355 mercenaries arrived from this country, of which 120 were destroyed and 90 left Ukraine.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, as of June 17, there are mercenaries and weapons specialists from 64 countries in Ukraine.

Since February 24, 6956 people arrived in Ukraine, of which 1956 were killed, 1779 left.

“3221 mercenaries are still alive, not yet captured or have not reached the Ukrainian border,” the department concluded.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry noted that since the beginning of May, the influx of foreign mercenaries to Ukraine to participate in hostilities against the Russian military has virtually dried up.

The ministry also reminded the mercenaries that, in accordance with international humanitarian law, they are not considered combatants, at best they face criminal liability.

So, on June 9, the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic sentenced Moroccan Saadun Brahim, as well as British Aiden Eslin and Sean Pinner to death.

The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said there were no grounds for pardoning foreign mercenaries.

“By the nature of those articles, those offenses that they committed, I see no reason, prerequisites for me to come out with such a decision to pardon,” TASS quoted him as saying.

In turn, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Maria Zakharova, in an interview with RT and RT Arabic on the sidelines of the SPIEF stated that there are many employees of Western intelligence services among foreign mercenaries in Ukraine.

“There are a lot of foreign mercenaries from Western countries.

And these are not mercenaries who just run around with machine guns, these are mercenary instructors, ”the diplomat explained.

According to her, these are the people who represent a number of countries and were sent to lead the fighting by the Kyiv regime.

“Many of them are members of Western intelligence agencies.

We are well aware of all this.

We understand what is at stake.

We are talking about a hybrid war, a proxy war at the hands of the Kyiv regime, behind which stands the collective West," Zakharova said.
