The former guitarist of the group Decibelios, Jaume O., admitted having paid two minors for sex, abusing two victims, producing child pornography by filming their encounters and having a gun in his house without permission, as found by the Mossos d' Squad.
For this reason, he settled for a sentence of 10 years and 9 months in prison in the trial held at the Barcelona Court this Thursday, since the Prosecutor's Office reduced the almost 50 years that it initially requested when estimating the confession of the accused and the reparation of the damage by paying 48,000 euros to the victims as compensation.
Specifically, the 49-year-old accused admitted two crimes of inducing and favoring the prostitution of minors, two crimes of sexual abuse of a minor under 16 years of age, two crimes of child pornography and one crime of exhibitionism.
in addition to illegal possession of weapons, for which he was sentenced to pay a fine of 450 euros.
In November 2019, the defendant entered a WhatsApp group called "Agenda Mundo", managed by a 15-year-old girl and dedicated to minors of that age who wanted to prostitute themselves, and paid 400 euros in exchange for having complete sexual relations.
She also recorded the meeting on video.
A month later, the defendant insisted to the administrator of the group "to get him a 15-year-old girl" and paid 100 euros.
The prosecutor notes that the defendant met the second victim in January 2020 when he went to her house accompanied by the first minor.
The two young women had met at a health center.
The defendant paid the companion for having found her girl and then went up with the other minor to her house to show her sexual videos and have complete relations.
The abuses were repeated on a couple of other occasions, one of them in the copy shop in Barcelona owned by the accused, and even on that occasion he proposed to one of the minors to be a couple when she was 16 years old.
At the end of January 2020, one of the minors entered the Adolescent Crisis Unit of a health center, so the mother kept the mobile phone and discovered a message from the defendant in which he said "you are coming now just to suck".
The mother began to investigate through social networks and found the profile of the accused, to whom she warned by phone that she would report him.
Along with the prison sentence, the defendant must spend more than 4 years without communicating with the victims when he is released from prison.
