Since 2021, the site “On va au restaurant” has been organizing a national competition to elect the best burger in France.

The votes for the final of the second edition closed on Tuesday afternoon and it was the dish of a restaurant in Charleville-Mézières (Ardennes) which won the title, reports

13 candidates, each representing a region, had reached the final stage of the competition.

These were ranked according to the number of "likes" and "shares" obtained on Facebook and Instagram.

This year, “Le Garage”, founded in 2014, stood out with its burger called “Le Guidon”.

A trophy and 6,500 euros in equipment will be offered to him.

Two victories in two editions

The crowned dish is a burger composed of pink bread with beet juice, beef, Godel cheese, bacon, arugula, red onions, gherkins, tomatoes, chives and mustard sauce yuzu.

It will be possible to taste it on site from June 21 on the condition of informing the restaurant beforehand because its preparation requires time.

The first edition of the competition had already been won by a restaurant in Charleville-Mézières, it was then the “Galion”.
