During the second day of the summit, their own defense was mainly discussed.
In recent years, NATO has built up four battle groups of battalion size.
At least 2,000 men are in Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
Now four more groups will be added, then in Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary.
The day before, the defense alliance had discussed further arms support for Ukarina.
