The delegation of the DPR, led by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the republic, Natalya Nikonorova, visited the Syrian capital.
“During the meeting, the president of the SAR announced the official start of the procedure for recognizing the republic,” the Donetsk News Agency quoted Pushilin as saying.
He added that in Donetsk he is ready for full-fledged relations with Syria in all areas.
Earlier, Pushilin said that a turning point had come in the battle for Donbass.
