Karlstad, Lidköping / Skövde, Växjö and Uppsala are the other places competing for the event.
- The Swedish Championships week is one of Sweden's most popular sports events and it is gratifying that so many strong candidates want to arrange the competitions.
It will be a tough task to appoint the two cities that will receive the assignment in 2025 and 2026, respectively, says Åsa Edlund Jönsson, SVT Sports' manager, in a press release.
The Swedish Sports Confederation, RF, and SVT make decisions about which cities will receive the competitions and present the winners no later than 15 November this year.
