In a debate article in Sydöstran from 24 May - with the headline "The Alliance for Blekinge forward" - the alliance in Region Blekinge outlines what they have achieved in the last four years.

"We have lowered the age to be called for mammography", is one of the measures they praise themselves for.

But no such reduction has taken place.

According to the health service, Blekinge follows the national care program for mammography and calls women aged 40 to 74 years, no reduction in age has taken place in the last four years.

"Taken out of the imagination"

That the coalition government, which consists of the Moderates, the Center Party, the Christian Democrats and the Liberals, praises themselves for something they have not done upsets the opposition politician Markus Alexandersson (S).

- It is taken from the imagination and it is remarkable that they claim something that is not true, he says.

The chairman of the Regional Board, Lennarth Förberg (M), who together with the leaders of the other alliance parties, is behind the debate article, answers:

- It is unfortunate that it happens and it is of course not our intention to write things that are not true, he says.

Will you do anything different in the future?

- Of course we must have a fact check that goes deeper, says Lennarth Förberg (M).
