Children born after February 24 in the Kherson region will automatically become citizens of Russia

“In the Kherson region, children who were born after the 24th automatically receive Russian citizenship.

And orphans have already received citizenship,” he told TASS.

He also noted that the Kherson region will continue its course towards integration with Russia, regardless of the position of the EU and the union's refusal to recognize Russian passports issued in the region.

As of June 4, the specialists of the document acceptance center accepted more than 300 packages of documents for obtaining Russian citizenship from residents of the Kherson region.
