The method is a collaboration between the department store and the police.

Work on the method will now be restarted with training for security guards and staff after being prioritized during the pandemic.

The crime is only committed when unpaid goods cross the checkout line.

The Falkenberg police see it as an effective step in crime prevention work where theft, according to them, is not too rare the start of a criminal path.
