“The State Duma at a plenary session adopted a law on the possibility of obtaining a residence permit to work in Russia in a simplified manner, which is proposed to be provided to foreign specialists in the field of information technology, as well as members of their families,” the State Duma website says.
We are talking about specialists working in Russian IT companies accredited by the Ministry of Digital Development.
Earlier it became known that the government approved a roadmap to create additional conditions for the development of the IT industry in Russia.
The second package of measures to support the IT industry in Russia provides for the simplification of obtaining a residence permit for IT specialists, as well as preferential mortgages and loans.
