Four days before the second round of the legislative elections, Emmanuel Macron has demanded a solid majority.

A late entry into the arena to attempt his government.

The rule is known: candidate ministers must resign in the event of defeat.

And that could be the case of Amélie de Montchalin, on borrowed time in Essonne.

To relaunch her campaign, she can however count on the support of Bruno Le Maire.

Bruno Le Maire came especially to say all the good things he thinks of his colleague from the ecological transition.

"I obviously want her to be able to continue in government and bring her skills, her know-how, her talent. And that depends on the voters in this constituency," said the Minister of the Economy.

"Disorder" in the Nupes program

It is on the Place de la Victoire that Amélie de Mouchamps has chosen to welcome the boss of Bercy, a public meeting in the open air, in front of a hundred people.

The opportunity, above all, to crush the Nupes of his opponent Jérôme Guedj.

"Anarchy in the Larousse means disorder. When I watch and when I read the program of Nupes, from its first to its last point, there is a lot of disorder".

The day after tomorrow, Gabriel Attal will come to lend a hand to Amélie de Montchalin.

A parade of ministers which is not likely to impress Jérôme Guedj, who came out on top in the first round.

In particular, he can count on his local left-wing presence.

Amélie de Montchalin "sufficient" compared to "realities on the ground"

"People don't know her. And for good reason, he was in contact with the inhabitants of the constituency. Can you imagine that last Sunday, she did not vote for her because she is not registered on the lists? It could be anecdotal, but for me, it is indicative of this remoteness, this distance and perhaps also a little of this sufficiency in relation to the realities on the ground", he confides on Europe 1.

And it is undoubtedly the abstentionists and the right-wing voters who now hold the outcome of the ballot in their hands in this sixth constituency of Essonne.
