After a season full of incidents in Ligue 1, four PSG ultras will be tried this Wednesday afternoon before the Rennes criminal court.

They are accused of having stolen the tarpaulin of the Rennes ultras of Roazhon Celtic Kop (RCK) and of having assaulted one of its members.

The facts took place on the night of September 22 to 23 in Breteil, the town where the victim's parents live, after the meeting between Stade Rennais and Clermont.

Armed with a tear gas canister and a telescopic baton, the four defendants would have landed at the parents' home to steal several sports bags containing tarpaulins and RCK flags.

In the wake of this affront and the attack on one of their own, the group of ultras from Rennes had suspended all its activities.

Two days later, Stade Rennais coach Bruno Genesio also supported the attacked supporter.

“It happened in Rennes, it's unbearable for football.

It is high time that our authorities became aware of this, ”said the coach of the Rouge et Noir.

The four individuals arrested in early February

After a little over three months of investigation, four individuals aged 28 to 39 were arrested in early February in the Paris region.

They would be members of the Karsud group, a group of ultras who have not attended PSG matches since the 2017-2018 season, even if they dispute being part of it.

In police custody, two of the defendants admitted "having been present at the scene and having taken the sports bags without violence", and two others "having made the Paris-Rennes round trip, but without explaining what they had done there, "said the Rennes prosecutor's office.
