America reveals the daily losses of the Ukrainian army

On Wednesday, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces Mark Milley said that the United States estimates the daily losses of the Ukrainian army at about 100 dead and about 100-300 wounded.

Speaking at a joint press conference with Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin after the results of the third meeting of the Contact Group on Military Assistance to Kiev, which was held in Brussels, Milley said: “You can see reports in the media that Ukraine is losing 100 dead and 100 to 300 wounded. I would like to point out "That's roughly in line with our estimates. At the same time, I don't want to reveal our private data."

At the same time, the senior Pentagon official stressed that counting the dead in combat operations is "always very difficult", and the announced numbers are preliminary.

"In most cases, the raw data is inaccurate. It can take months, sometimes years, to determine the exact number of dead," he added.
