While patrolling the area of ​​Saint-Martin-du-Touch, a district west of Toulouse, members of the national police's specialized field brigade smelled a strong smell of cannabis in a street, coming from of a building.

They decide to intervene in the accommodation from which these very specific scents emanate, accompanied by their colleagues from the narcotics and the anti-crime brigade.

When they enter this apartment rented on Airbnb, two women aged 19 and 32 are present.

And in their belongings, they find 15 kg of herbal cannabis, 7 kg of hashish, 50 g of cocaine and 1,000 euros in cash.

As well as a man's identity papers.

The two women explain that they themselves are consumers and serve as nominees for renting the accommodation.

Judicial information

While carrying out their search, the investigators spotted a foreign-registered car in the street which constantly drove back and forth in front of the residence, with three men inside.

They decide to control them.

And among them is the man whose identity card was present in the apartment.

They also have the keys to the Airbnb and another car parked out front.

Inside, the police found 48 kg of cannabis resin, 1,200 euros and 450 g of cocaine.

On June 5, a judicial investigation was opened and the three young men aged 16 to 19 were placed in pre-trial detention.

The two occupants of the apartment were released.
