Sarah Al Amiri, Minister of State for Public Education and Chairman of the Emirates Foundation for School Education, stated that there has been no change in the end-of-year leave system for teachers, which will start on Monday, July 18.

In media statements, she said, "On October 27 of last year (2021), the Foundation sent the schedules of the academic year calendar for all teachers, which included the date of the end of the current school year, and according to this calendar, the end of the school year will be on Thursday, July 14 next. ».

Al-Amiri added: “After implementing the new weekly holiday system, in which working days start from Monday to Friday, so the last day of the current academic year is Friday, July 15, and then the summer vacation for teachers begins on Monday (July 18). ) at the beginning of the following week.

She explained that the circular that reached schools recently from the institution is a reminder and not a change in the dates of the holiday, stressing that the circular reached all schools and teachers.

On the other hand, a number of twelfth grade students (general, advanced and elite tracks) complained about the difficulty of the physics exam questions for the third semester of the current academic year, stressing that the exam paper for physics included many questions that require high thinking skills, and they did not It comes in direct context.

Students Khaled Salem, Dalia Hadi and Meera Muhammad said that the exam questions took longer than the prescribed time to answer them.

The students expressed their dissatisfaction with the ambiguity of the questions and the shortness of the third semester and the accumulation of its educational content, explaining that the physics curriculum needed a longer time to finish and complete the revision, pointing out that the questions came indirect, and they needed an explanation by a teacher or guide of the subject.
