Three mules sentenced for transporting cocaine, in Angers

They were all three sentenced to three years in prison, some with suspended sentences.

On Monday, a man and two women aged 18, 19 and 30 were sentenced in Angers for importing, possessing and acquiring cocaine between the Paris region and Maine-et-Loire,

reports .

The man was arrested in early June with nearly 500 grams of cocaine hidden in a fast food bag.

It was he who led the police to the hotel where the two women were staying, who had each ingested a kilo of cocaine before making the trip from Guyana.

According to the daily, the latter recognized "three round trips by plane, in 2022, for which they would have received between 3,000 and 5,200 euros".

The eldest, mother, had already been convicted for similar acts.
